python1.4-sparc-solaris2.4.tar.gz consists of:
       Python 1.4
       gdbm 1.7.3
       tcl7.6
       tk4.2

All files are included under their full path (usr/local)

All modules are compiled as shared libraries (_tkinter too).
Besides the standard modules the following modules are included:
nis, termios, timing, syslog, curses, new, gdbm.

The tar file includes all necessary tcl scripts in /usr/local/lib/tcl7.6,tk4.2.

All were compiled and linked on a sparc20 running:
       Solaris 2.4

The package does depend on some dynamic libraries.  On the build system,
ldd shows:

       libdl.so.1 => /lib/libdl.so.1.7.14
       libm.so.5 => /lib/libm.so.5.0.6
       libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.4.7

To run _tkinter You need

       libX11.so.6
