Welcome to the Atelier Web Capi ActiveX control (AWCAPI) 1.0 release!

Atelier Web Capi ActiveX control enables the development of
sophisticated ISDN aware phone applications in a question of
days, even hours.

This is not just another ISDN Caller ID control. Inside the control
is present all the core functionality you can only find in the best
commercially available ISDN phone applications, and more.

With AWCapi ActiveX control, the developer may well concentrate and
spend his time on the production of value-added features to
differentiate his offering and on the enrichment of the user
interface.

All the nitty-gritty of Capi is handled by the control.

Everything has a price, of course! But in this case, the price is
zero.

AWCapi ActiveX control is totally free, and will always be totally
free.

We have also the Delphi components and the source code itself. These
we are not in a position to give for free! But it is worthwhile to
pay if you have an ambitious project and need to take it seriously.

REQUIREMENTS
===============

AWCAPI 1.0 requires the following as a minimum:

Pentium� 166 or comparable processor
Windows� 95, 98 or Windows� NT 4.0
Installed Capi compliant ISDN board and driver.
32 MB of RAM
About 1 MB of available hard disk space
Display adapter with 800x600 or better resolution


INSTALLING AWCAPI 1.0
===============

When you unzip the distribution we must run the Setupex.exe to
install the program.

Once you have supplied the necessary setup information and AWCAPI is
installed, we invite you to read the Help file.

Or you may want to start by running the sample applications to get a
feeling of AWCAPI capabilities.


UPGRADING
===============

Please check frequently the support page at

for new releases of the control.

When you upgrade you shall have no need to remove the previous
version, the installation will do it for you while keeping the
compatibility with existing applications.


REMOVING AWCAPI 1.0
========================

To remove this product, go to Control Panel/Add Remove Programs and
select AWCapi ActiveX control.

REGISTERING
========================

This ActiveX control is fully functional (not crippled in any way)
and released as FREEWARE for private, company and commercial use. It
is freely distributable (see file LICENSE.TXT for details).

You have no need to register it.

There are Premium Options available, which are not free, namely the
equivalent Delphi component and the availability of full source code.
